GIVEAWAY POLICY

I strongly recommend if you want to do a giveaway, you giveaway books. Here’s why: we’ve noticed that giveaways tend to attract prize hounds. While I have nothing against people who enter giveaways as a hobby, I think it’s in the author’s best interest to attract readers. But it’s up to you. We’re happy to accept all sorts of giveaways, as long as they’re legal!

REVIEW POLICY

Here are some of the  genres readers are interested in:

• Paranormal Mystery/Thriller/Suspense
• Steampunk
• Young Adult
• Paranormal Romance
• Urban Fantasy

We do not classify fantasy as paranormal.

INFO YOU NEED TO KNOW!

If you have a book you  would like either of us to review, please email us using the email button at the bottom of the page.

We will first ask you for an excerpt to decide if we’re a good fit. Here’s why.

We hate writing bad reviews. But we’re not going to give a book we don’t enjoy  a good review. So send us an excerpt, and if it looks like we’re not a good fit, we’ll be happy to help promote you with an author interview or guest post instead.

If accepted, we will request:

1. A copy of the book (mobi/Kindle or print versions);
2. The book blurb
3. An author bio;
4. An author photo; and
5. A photo of the cover.

We don’t care if your book is the first or fifth in the series. Our philosophy is that your readers may be picking up one of the later books in your series for the first time – they should be able to understand it, and so should we, as reviewers.

If you wish to have the review published by a particular date, then give us at least 4 weeks notice for reviews.

All reviews are posted here as well as our Twitter feed, which has over 3,700 followers, Google+ and Goodreads.
