We’re drawing one card for each sign from the Tarot’s Major Arcana and the second from its elemental suit. E.g. since Cancer is a water sign, one card is drawn from the Major Arcana and one from the Tarot’s water suit, cups, for Cancer. (Standard disclaimer: Tarotscopes are for entertainment purposes only).
Our gif theme this month is The Witches of East End, because I loved that show (so of course it was cancelled) and it has a nice summertime vibe.
Cancer, June 21 – July 22: Justice and the King of Cups. This month is about tempering justice with mercy — both toward yourself and others. Move deliberately and patiently. This is also one of those months where working within the “rules” can really work in your favor. So take advantage!
Leo, July 23 – August 22: The Star and the Two of Wands. Two roads diverge in a wood, and filled with hope and expectation, you’ve got to decide which to take. The good news is, both can lead to positive outcomes, as long as YOU stay positive and open. The bad news is you’ve still got a choice to make, but aren’t you lucky to have options?
Virgo, August 23 – September 22: The World and the Three of Pentacles. You can create the world you seek, but not on your own. Fortunately, there are people out there who are ready and willing to collaborate. Let them! The rewards will be powerful.
Libra, September 23 – October 22: The Hanged Man and the Five of Swords. A shortcut may be tempting this month, Libra, but it will come with a high cost. So resist temptation. You may feel all knotted up by circumstances, but grit your teeth and soldier on, for this too shall pass.
Scorpio, October 23 – November 21: The Hierophant and the Six of Cups. The Hierophant is master of the three kingdoms — animal, vegetable and mineral — and the Six of Cups represents spirit and matter in unity. Put these two power cards together, and your universe is coming into alignment. This is a month to nurture wholeness and beauty in your life.
Sagittarius, November 22 – December 21: The Empress and the Page of Wands. You have big opportunities for creation this month and the energy to make it happen. In this card combination, the mature, fecund, Empress energy combines with the wild and youthful energy of the Page of Wands, bringing balance, if you allow it. You need both these energies in your life right now — don’t let either side run amuck.
Capricorn, December 22 – January 19: Death and the Two of Pentacles. You’ll have to let something go to find your balance. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, it’s not you, Capricorn, it’s the situation. And one way or another, it’s going to change. But that change will come a lot more easily if you’re the one who initiates it rather than waiting until it’s forced upon you.
Aquarius, January 20 – February 18: The Lovers and the Eight of Swords. The energies want to come together in your life — whether it’s a work situation, romance, or internal. It’s your head that’s keeping it from happening. Don’t become a prisoner of your own mind. Take stock and become aware of the voices in your head saying “no.” Then ask yourself if what they’re telling you is valid or not.
Pisces, February 19 – March 20: The Fool and the Eight of Cups. The Fool once again stands at a crossroads. After having learned some hard lessons, it’s time to start again. But that new beginning can only occur if he releases what no longer serves him. And that sounds easy, but there are still some emotional attachments which make him hesitate. However, you are ready. It’s time. And know that what comes next is going to be fabulous. The key is to approach it with beginner’s mind, free from expectations.
Aries, March 21 – April 19: The Magician and the King of Wands. You’ve got a powerful opportunity for transformation, Aries, and this transformation can be either internal or external. And possibly both. You have everything you need to make things happen. So take inventory and use your tools wisely.
Taurus, April 20 – May 20: The Emperor and the Ace of Pentacles. The Ace of Pentacles is the primo material “success” card. Partnered with the Emperor, it shows you the way to get what you want — discipline and organization. I know, dear Taurus, it would be much easier to simply let it all slide. But if you really want it, you’re going to have to find a way to motivate yourself and be the no-nonsense emperor.
Gemini, May 21 – June 20: The Sun and the Four of Swords. Beach time! Sometimes to move forward, you need to take a break and recharge your batteries. July is one of those times. But don’t just veg in front of the TV. Take some time for reflection and for creative play.
