ParaNormal News This Week! April 1st

Happy April Fool’s Day! You’ve officially been reminded what day it is, so don’t get pranked. And now onward, to paranormal news of the week!

1)In honor of the day, an article on the best paranormal April Fool’s Day pranks. It’s also got some fun history (or mystery) of the holiday, so bone up so you can impress people at your Friday cocktail party.

2) The NRA has rewritten some of Grim’s fairy tales, putting guns in the hands of the good guys to even the odds. Imagine the hubbub. Or just read about it – the article is fairly comprehensive. As an aside, fairy tales have been used for social propaganda purposes since at least the Victorian era.

3) Bigfoot! In… Texas?

4) Is Tarot undergoing a revival? I kind of thought it was on the downswing, replaced at trendy New York parties by Haikuists. But maybe I’m wrong. What do you think?

5) Supernatural has been renewed for a Season 12, but Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki have given some thought about how they’d like to see their characters go out for good. (Short answer: in style).
