We’re drawing one card for each sign from the Tarot’s Major Arcana and the second from its elemental suit. E.g. since Libra is an air sign, one card is drawn from the Major Arcana and one from the Tarot’s air suit, swords. (Standard disclaimer: these are for entertainment purposes only).
Libra, September 23 – October 22: The World and the Six of Swords. The not-so-nice stuff is moving into the rear view mirror, as you enter a positive phase of your life, filled with possibilities. The key here is to know that you have the power to make things happen (and good stuff won’t come automatically – you need to work for it). This will go easier if you release what no longer serves you.
Scorpio, October 23 – November 21: The Magician and the Knight of Cups. What happens when a magician goes on a quest? All sorts of awesomeness! (Assuming you’re not stuck in a Journey Quest Video, that is). So gather your crew and set forth. Adventure awaits!
Sagittarius, November 22 – December 21: The Devil and the Queen of Wands. Your energy this month can be summed up by the immortal Mae West: “When I’m bad, I’m better.”
Yum! Just be sure you’re “badness” stays within normal operating parameters. All may not be as it appears, and a tendency toward excess can take you places you do not want to go.
Capricorn, December 22 – January 19: The High Priestess and the Queen of Pentacles. This is your time to go inward and take care of yourself. If you’ve been debating whether to invest in some inner work, a massage, or hosting a quiet night with friends, now’s a good time to do it. Get your R&R in now, before the holidays madness.
Aquarius, January 20 – February 18: The Wheel of Fortune and the Five of Swords. Victory is yours! The bad news is, the wheel is always turning, and as long as you’re riding it, you’ll be up and down. If it starts to feel too roller coaster-y for you, find your center and focus on what really matters.
Pisces, February 19 – March 20: Temperance and the Ace of Cups. Your intuitive powers get a boost this month and the extra sensitivities to your own emotions and others can be a blessing or a curse. (It’s your choice). Do what you need to do to find your balance.
Aries, March 21 – April 19: The Star and the Two of Wands. You have some delightful options this month, so be sure not to get stuck in analysis paralysis. Sometimes you just need to trust and go. Or in the immortal words of Yogi Berra: “When you get to a fork in the road, take it.”
Taurus, April 20 – May 20: Ace of Pentacles and the Lovers. Pentacles are all about the physical world, and the Ace encompasses all the energies of its suit — health, money, home. With the Lovers in the house, things are going to come together in an electric way. Be ready.
Gemini, May 21 – June 20: The Emperor and the Three of Swords. If things aren’t going quite the way you like, know that this an opportunity. Think about that irritating grit in the oyster that becomes a pearl. Without the irritation, there’s no forward movement. But they key here is action. Things won’t automatically turn around – you’re going to have to use this. Figure out what’s not working, come up with a plan, and act.
Cancer, June 21 – July 22: The Hanged Man and the Five of Cups. Some sticky energy this month might make you feel trapped or even wronged. But the good news of the Five of Cups is that there’s some good stuff behind you. You’ve just got to turn around and look at it.
Leo, July 23 – August 22: Judgement and the Eight of Wands. You’re being called to transform and you’re being called now! If you find yourself looking back and wondering what happened, well, yeah, change can be unsettling, especially when things are happening so fast. Look inward and figure out who you really want to be, because who you become is your choice.
Virgo, August 23 – September 22: The Empress and the Two of Pentacles. You’re keeping a lot of balls in the air this month, Virgo, and the Empress is here to tell you to just… breathe. Tend to the “real world” side of life — your health, your finances, and the people you care about.
