Join the Hoodoo Halloween Blog Party!

First Witch:
When shall we three meet again
In thunder, lightning, or in rain?

Second Witch:
When the hurlyburly’s done,
When the battle’s lost and won.

— from Shakespeare’s Macbeth

There’s a change in the air, autumn is on its way, and so is one of my favorite holidays: Halloween! This year I visited New Orleans to on a Hoodoo Detective research quest, touring its crumbling cemeteries and lively clubs. The city is a mystic soup of music, fun and food, the home of vampires and voodoo, ghosts and gumbo. What a perfect theme for ParaYourNormal’s first Halloween blog party!

Yes, we’re hosting a blog party! And if you’ve got a blog, you’re welcome to join us on October 18th and 19th, 2014.

Here’s how it works:

You post a Halloween or  Haunted New Orleans-themed blog on October 18th, 19th, or both and then come to the ParaYourNormal Hoodoo Party page and link to your blog post (the actual post, not your general blog) in the comments. Your post can be photos, a spooky story, recipes, spells, pets in funny costumes, anything Halloween, anything haunted New Orleans, or even a real Halloween party. It’s an opportunity to have some fun and get some more readers (and links) over to your blog!

Once you’ve posted, kick back with the beverage of your choice, and enjoy the frivolity!

So join us on October 18th and or 19th for some New Orleans Hoodoo/Halloween goodness!

Here’s an image to share and a link to add to it:

  2. Here’s a quick refresh on the Hoodoo Halloween blog party: All you need do is write a blog that’s either Halloween or New Orleans related (or both). And then go to the https://parayournormal.wordpress.com blog on the 18th or 19th, where you’ll see a new Hoodoo Halloween post. Then post a link and one-sentence blurb for your blog post in the comments.
