Series: The Kandesky Vampire Chronicles, Book Six

Author: Michele Drier

Genre: Urban fantasy/vampires

Book six in the Kandesky Vampire Chronicles picks up right where book five left off.  Our heroine, Maxie Gwenoch, is settling in to her new digs in Kiev with her vampire lover, Jean-Louis. But there’s one outstanding problem: the vampire who wants them all dead, Leonid. It’s Leonid or Maxie and everyone she loves.

But what about that love? In book five, Maxie told Jean-Louis that she doesn’t want to be changed into a vampire. So what does this leave for them? This book takes a delightful stroll through the continuing kinks in the vampire/human relationship, alongside the fashion scene of the “Wild East.” And if you haven’t picked up a hint from the book cover, we get to explore the fascinating question of just what happens when a vampire goes nuclear.

Readers who love a light vampire/fashion/romantic suspense will enjoy this book.
